History Talks will feature State Archivist Chelle Somsen, Government Archivist Sara Casper, and Manuscript Archivist Matthew T. Reitzel. They will explore the many ways historical items and unique collections make their way to the State Archives.

Celebrated each October, Archives Month highlights the importance of preserving public historical records and promoting access to our shared history through state archives, historical societies, libraries, county governments, and other historical repositories. This month-long celebration coincides with American Archives Month, established by the Society of American Archivists.
