Becoming the Gateway to the Black Hills
Join us for History Talks as historian David A. Wolff presents his book “The Gateway to the Hills.” Join on Zoom or in person at BHSU’s campus (Jonas Hall 305). Wolff will discuss the transportation networks, mining projects, and tourist attractions that community boosters backed to make their town the Black Hills’ gateway, or as they often said, the “Denver of the Black Hills.”
