While the Windmill Watched
Sisters Jackie and Janine Pfeiffer grew up on a farm near Menoken in central North Dakota in the 1950s. “While the Windmill Watched” is told in four voices – Jackie, Janine, the sisters together and the windmill that watched over their farm and the surrounding Menoken community. The love of family, farm and community shines forth in the book which can be enjoyed by any generation, not just by people who grew up in the 1950s.
