2014 Legislative Reception at Cultural Heritage Center

The Cultural Heritage Center in Pierre will be the stie of a Legislative Reception from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. on Thursday, Jan. 16, hosted by Gov. Dennis Daugaard, First Lady Linda Daugaard, the board of trustees of the South Dakota State Historical Society and the board of directors of the South Dakota Historical Foundation.
Invited guests include state constitutional officers, state legislators, members of the South Dakota State Historical Society and more.

It's an opportunity to welcome legislators back to Pierre and the governors and other constitutional officers to the Cultural Heritage Center. Please come and enjoy the event!

The South Dakota State Historical Society is a division of the Department of Tourism. The Department of Tourism is comprised of Tourism, the South Dakota Arts Council and the State Historical Society. The Department is led by Secretary James D. Hagen. The State Historical Society, an Affiliate of the Smithsonian Institution, is headquartered at the South Dakota Cultural Heritage Center in Pierre. The center houses the society’s world-class museum, the archives and the historic preservation, publishing and administrative/development offices.
