Elizabeth Cook-Lynn of Rapid City will be the guest speaker at the Heritage Book Club

Elizabeth Cook-Lynn of Rapid City will be the guest speaker at tomorrow night’s meeting of the History and Heritage Book Club. She is an enrolled member of the Crow Creek Sioux Tribe and is considered one of the nation’s leading voices on American Indian issues, particularly tribal sovereignty. She is a retired college professor and, in retirement, has been a visiting professor at universities around the country. Cook-Lynn is also a writer, and will discuss her newest book, “That Guy Wolf Dancing.” This is an opportunity to learn about a book from an American Indian’s point of view.

The program begins at 7 p.m. on Tuesday, March 10, in the education room. Everyone is welcome. The book is sold at the Heritage Store.
